Frank Ryan, aged 50 years, ganger in the New Zealand Railways, VYaikari, cut his throat with a razor jes-t-erday morning. lie was removed to the Waikari Hospital where lie expired about 9 a.m. (PBISS ASSOCIATION TBLXOSAMS.) PAHIATUA, April 20. Philip Hines, 2i years, son of a Mangatainoka settler, was attacked by a cow. The boy's eye was badly injured by a horn. PALMERSTON NORTH, April 20. Thomas Hedley, a farm hand, who was admitted to the hospital on Easter Saturday suffering from injuries sustained in a shooting accident at Rangiwahia on Good Friday, has succumbed to his injuries. MASTFRTOX, April 20. Dougias Cole, a boy, living at Homebush, was accidentally shot while out rabbit-shooting yesterday. His conuition is serious. DUXEDIN, April 20. A married man named Edward Patchott died suddenly this afternoon in the Art Gallery Hall, of which he was caretaker. As Patchett, who was aged 52, had been attended by a doctor an inquest is not necessary.
