MR WILLIAM SIBBALD. , ] (SPECIAL TO "TSX FBESS.") j DUNEDIN, November 2-i. News has bc-en received by cable of the <loat)i in England of Mr imam Sibbald, who vim Colioctor of Customs. :ifc Duncdin from. 1903 to 1912. He came to Dunedin from Napier. Prior to that lie was for many years second in command at tho Auckland office of the Customs Department as landing surveyor. Upon finishing his term of service in Dunedin, Mr Sibbald' retired from the Department, and, with hia wife and family,-went .to live abroad, their time being spent-in England and on the Continent. Mr and Mrs Sibbald m-.ulo several trios -to New Zealand, and dring.one of these, visits—in 1921 —Mrs Sibbalil. died.
