TARE ON WOOLPACKS.

TO THE EDITOR OF "THE PBZSS." Sir, —For many years the tar© on. wool packs has been as follows42in, 101b; 44 and 46in, 111b; full sized bales, 121b. The wool packs since tlhe war have been of a lighten quality of jute, and do not weigh within two pounds of the aibove weight, and yet no alteration has been made.

If these two pounds are added to the one pound per hundred weight allowed for draft, it .will be seen the wool grower is called upon to lose at least five pounds of wool per pack, at present about ten shillings (10s).—Yours, etc., S'HE^FARMER.
