FIRES.
(FBBS3 ASSOCIATION TtLtOUill.) IN VERCAIIGILL, November 23. The Orepuki D'airy Factory was destroyed by fire yesterday. The damage is estimated at £3OOO, a portion ot which,- it is understood., is. covered by insurance. The intake of the factory has been ■SOCIO gallons a day.
The Fire Brigade was called to the Trocadero Private Hotel, 37 Manchester street, at 10.37 last night, to put out a fire in the pantry. The outbreak gave no trouble, and only about £ls worth of damage was done to the room and contents. It' is thought the fire was Caused by someone throwing down a match.
