Widdowson, S.M.) ALLEGED THEFT. John Francis Madden, a young man, was remanded to appear, on Friday on a charge of having stolen two boxes, of a value of £3 Is, the property of W. D. and H. O. Wills (New Zealand), Ltd. Bail was allowed, self in .£3OO, and two sureties of £l5O each. JUVENILE COURT: (Before Mr H. Y. Widdowson, S.M.) Two boys were ordered to par 7s costs for riding a bicycle at' night without a light. Another "boy was fined 5s lor a similar offence. " • A' lad, 14 years of age. admitted having stolen tools and paint valued at 5s from a boat* shed by the sea. The boy was admonished and' discharged. Three young boys- pleaded guilty to having smashed - fivo panes of gla3s and stolen clectrio bulbs and fittings of a total value of 28s. '. The smallest of the three was admonished tnd discharged. ' Frederick 'Floyd,' an elderly man, who pleaded guilty to a charge of indecently assaulting a young girl at Hunterville, was sentenced to seven years' imprisonment by Mr Justice McGregor. .
