'INVEfiCAEiGILL, November 21. •The Norwegian. -whaling fleet .'of fiT° chasers and factory ship, Sir James Clivk Eoss; sailed from tho baso at Glory Harbour, Stewart Island, at 4 a.m. to-day for tho Ross Soa whaling grounds.. This is the second season of the expedition. Last season the fleet returntho base in February. This year Captain Larsen hopes to continue uu Al The Sir James. Clark Ross carries a huge supply of coal, including a deck cargo. . Her first stop will bo the Campbell Islands, where fresh mutton will be taken aboard and the chasers will be coaled. She is fitted wita powerful 'wireless and so will.have communication with civilisation.. During the long off season the boats haic been renovated aud refitted at the nent baso at- Stewart' Island, captain Larsen anticipates a successful season, in the light of experience gained last year regarding tho feeding grounds, etc. .
