The latter threw beer over Blitz, who retaliated with his glass, cutting Emmanuel's head. Accused, who was a friend of Emmanuel, seized, a carving knife and drove it deeply into Blitz's head. The doorkeeper, Abellson, intervened tp capture the knife and was stabbed in the-thigh. -He is still crippled. A. verdict of .manslaughter was returned), ' and Solomon was sentenced to' three years' imprisonmenL. [The incident occurred about two months ago.
