LONDON STABBING CASE.

At the trial of Alfred Solomon, charged with stabbing "Buck" Emden at the Eden dub in the Tottenham Court road district, evidence was given that Blitz, alias Emden, and Emmanuel quarrelled. The latter threw beer over Blitz, who retaliated with his glass, cutting Emmanuel's head. Accused, who was a friend of Emmanuel, seized, a carving knife and drove it deeply into Blitz's head. The doorkeeper, Abellson, intervened tp capture the knife and was stabbed in the-thigh. -He is still crippled. A. verdict of .manslaughter was returned), ' and Solomon was sentenced to' three years' imprisonmenL. [The incident occurred about two months ago. Solomon, aged 31, was a fruit salesman, and Emden a bookmaker.]
