NEW BRIGHTON BOY SCOUTS.
The Xew Brighton Scouts and. their friends gatlicred in force on Tuesday night ia welcome Lome Scouts Hyde and March, the two Brighton boys who had attended the Scout jamborees at "Wembley and Copenhagen. There were present: A Troop, 12 boys under Leader Hueston; B troop, 8 boys -under Scouter Beed; C troop, 18 boys under Scouterß Scott and Good; and p> Girl Guides under Captain Mrs Cole. There were also present: The Mayor (Mr J. Gamble), District Scoutmaster Dyer, District Cubmaster Dyer, Scoutmaster Bishop, Lady Cubmaster Brinsden, Assistant Scoutmasters Hyde and March, and parents and friends of the boys. Tho Mayor formally welcomed the boys who, in replying, gave a. brief account of their doings while abroad. The remainder of the evening was spent in proper Scout campfire style, although inclement' -weather had driven the gathering into the Scout house, making- the fire impossible. A good supper was provided by the ladies of the Troop Committee, and "'Auld Lang Syne" brought a, most enjoyable evening to a close.
