SPIRIT FACES AT THE CENOTAPH.
TO THE EDITOR. O? "TKS' ?BSSS."' Sir,—-Said, a friend to-me: "I see the cable man has been sending out some .more-.tommy-rot stuff, that I suppose has pleased you. I also noticed something equally absurd about the spifite rebuilding some of the ruined historical -. buildings. I expect we soon shall have some of your mediums reporting that Johnny 'Walker is still going strong in your precious spirit world or realm, or ■whatever you call it." I had no rejoinder to make, "having no rebutting evidence to offer. I wonder sometimes which class of. persons will' get- the biggest shock . and surprise when they land on the spirit side of'life? Those.who go over with great -expectations, or those with none at 'all;, or, again, those who go utterly careless, callous, and indiffer-' ent.. There is one thing certain ' that all classes will be suitably received, and' looked after. Ca.ptain Stormfield met a lot' of dejected ones retracing their stcpy, having discarded their wings and thrown away their harps.— Yours, etc, PETER TEOLOVE.
