LINWOOD SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
The monthly meeting of the Linwood School Committee was held on Monday. Present: Messrs H. F. Herbert (chairman), A. Jollard, G. Phillips, W. Martin, H: Macintosh, W. S. Youi-i, and J. Lindley (honorary secre-lary). A hearty vote oi tha.nss was Dassed to the headmaster and staff for the very fine results of the fancy drees party It was decided to hold the annual picnic on the lost Thursday in February. The chairman made feeling reference to the death of Lvn&a Carson. The headmaster's cport revealed a roll number of 7-39 and An average attendance of nearly 700.
