"DIXIE" JUBILEE SINGERS.
The Dixie Jubilee Singers, at. present appearing at the Caledonian Hall, consist of seven coloured members, who are delighting their audiences with, quaint negro melodies. The programme is diversified generous in extent, as the most, exacting patron could desire. Solos, with and without choral accompaniments, quartettes, full choral numbers, readings, and cartoon-making, all are called into requisition, not to forget pianistic activity. There are included some genuine plantation songs, some "spirituals," of the kind that is characteristic of the race, ballads, humorous items, among which the one of "pies and cakes" is best appreciated, and bo forth, in endless variety.' The company will appear hr the Caledonian Hall throughout the week.
