An average of four men have bets. engaged on the work throughout. Tho houses are of fire rooms, witi all conveniences, and they should make very comfortable homes. The interiors arc all nicely finished, and are practically draught-proof.' Ekctrie light has been installed in every roam.Although the actual cost of construction of these houses is sot available, it is estimated .that approximately £725 would cover the whole work, including, tho cost of timber, work in the faet«jy and on the job. It is estimated that there arc 25,000 pieces of timber is ono house.
