In proclaiming November 17th to 24th as education week, Mr Coolidge described education as America's noblest contribution to civilisation. He said a broad' and liberal culture was necessary to enable men to think and to know how to live. An educated fool was a sorry spectacle, but not nearly so dangerous as a neb. fool Wo want neither in this country. We want the educated to know how to work and the rich to know how to think. _.
