Miss Dorothea Vincent,- the brii'.iant young British pianiste, scheduled to arrive in the Dominion at \he end of this month, is coming to.us fresh from a series of particularly successful recitak in South Africa... So enthused, indeed, were her hearers, in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria. Port Elisabeth, Grabamstown. Vitenhajfe, and other places, that Miss Vincent has promised a return series on completion of her New Zealand recitals, about the end of-March next. Miss Vincent, is possessed of the pleasing faculty of turning., from Bach aid Beethoven to moderns such. as.Debussy and Ireland, with a, wonderful undersfcandiop for the moods of each. The dates for Miss; Vincent's Christchiires recitals are December 10th. and 11th, in tha Choral Hall.
