In' tho Chamber, M. Hymans, reviewing foreign affairs, eulogised the Geneva protocol as a inost practical and efficacious .measure for protection and eeourity. It had at least brought an Anglo-Frarico-Belfcian defensive agreement within the framework of the League. Belgium did not despair of eventual realisation of a tripartite agreement.
