SALE OF GERMAN PROPERTY.

LONDON, November 12. Mr Amcry (Secretary of State for the Colonies) has decided that it is impossible to impose restrictions on the impending auction of ox-German properties in Cameroon. It is pointed out that the Colonial Office is acting on behalf of the Custodian of Enemy Property. The proceeds from the salo will increase the total receivable by British claimants against Germany. »
It is hoped British firms and individuals will realise this opportunity to obtain properties which 'arc equally as secure as those in a British. Colony or Protectorate.
[Cameroon, captured from Germany in 1916, is now divided and administered under mandate, part by Britain and part by France.]
