ENGLISH PARK STADIUM.
TO-NIGHT'S CARNIVAL. Seldom, if ever, has a better programme of cycling, events been put before .the Christchurch public, than was put' on last ;Wednesday night' at the Stadium. The racing was of an exceptional standard, brought about no doubt by the exceptional lighting of the cycle track, and by the fact that the ■ track is absolutely safe, at any. speed. This evening there wiLi. be another nigtit with the champions. O'S'iiea, Hendeison, Watson and Mackie meet in the three-quarter open race, which should be a racefto .be remembered.
