ON TWO FRONTS.
TROUBLES OP SPAIN.
TRIBESMEN AND ANARCHISTS. (bt cable—pr.ess association—corxsioHr; (F.ECTEE'S TSLEGBAJfS.) (Received November 13th, 12..50 p.m.) MADRID, November 12. Advices from Morocco state that Spanish troops attacked largo enemy forces near Wadlau, assisted by artillery and aircraft. The enemy were routed, and the Spanish losses wero about 40 killed and wounded. ,'r.rX7TSS'S TELEGIt.iSt3.) MADRID, November 11. Public opinion is that tho encounters at Vera and Barcelona, and the arrests at Psrpignan indicate that there was a concontrated movement by a small revolutionary group, apparently Syr- | diealists. It is believed that tho Government has tho situation well in hand. About 40 arrests have been made, including two ex-Deputies, both extreme Republicans. The general impression is that the revolutionary movement in the northeast has been definitely suppressed. Tlio affair seems to have been badly organised. The plot is ascribed to political supporters oi' the old regime. DE RIVERA SETS A TRAP. (BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION OOrtBIGET.) (Sidnei "Sex" Service.) PAIIIS, November 11. An escapee from Barcelona asserts that General Primo do Rivera, following tho seizure of Syndicalist courtiers, and secret revolutionary documents, precipitated the outbreak by means oi' a bogus telegram instructing Spanish exiles to meet at a, rendezvous. The exiles unsuspectingly fell into the ambush on the Pryenecan frontier and were either shot down, arrested, or dispersed. All the Caitalan Separatists, Republicans, Anarchists, and Syndicalists, were awaiting a signal from Madrid, when fliey heard that the revolution had broken out on the Pryencean frontier. The most impetuous among them ran into the streets and opened fire, but found the police awaiting them.
