GILLIGAN PLEASED WITH HIS TEAM.
ADELAIDE, November 12. At the conclusion of the match with South Australia' Gilligan. expressed himself as being very pleased with the showing l of. the Englishmen. The weather, ho eaid, was in their favour, making playing conditions similar to those experienced last season in England.
Gilligan eaid he thought Richardson did the right thing when he declared the South Australians' innings closed on Saturday morning. He regarded "Arthur Richardson's effort as a first-clafis innings, particularly his i driving.
