SPRING MEETING. SECOND DAY.

The Spring Meeting of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club will be advanced another stage at _Adding-t-on to-day. With the exception of the free for All and the November Handicap in each of which there are onlyfive acceptors, tho fields aro well up to the average and tho racing should again be interesting. Eleven highclass horses are engaged in the Courtenay Handicap, including Sheik and Great Hope, who finished first and second respectively in tho New Zealand Cup.. These two must again command respect, while Dolly Dillon and I/idy Swithin read the best of the others. Tho popular Free for All has attracted five brilliant pacers in .Amm, Lojzan Chief, Onyx, llealm, and Taraire. Tho final issuo is open and there is little doubt the raoe will be run in fast time.
