The result of the- conference was that delegates from the Hangiora'and 3£aiapoi Borough Councils were to wait upon the next meeting of the Highway Board. The clerk was instructed to obtain, a quotatiou for a supply of cartridges, ' ; The tender of T.'H. Fraser for supplying ! dog collars for 1933 was accepted. . H. R. 'Shearman' wrote that a, • willow treo. | growing in the Kowai riverbed was diverfcing the water on to his land. Cr. James j'. was appointed to deal with the matter. • The Public Worlii Department wrote' that the amount of : Government 6ub3idy for : building bridges over Tobin's ford and.Gray'# .road was available-. ■ ; ', ' Tenders for painting, two bridges- over the ' Kowai river at Leithfield arid Balcairn were 'received and tha-i of.
