DUNEDIN EXHIBITION.
BRITISH PARTICIPATION.
(SPECIAL TO "THE TBZSB.'J WELLINGTON. .November 11. The Hon. W. Dbwnie Stewart, Minister of Industries and Commerce, lias to-day telegraphed the executive of the Dunedin and South Setis Exlribition. the satisfactory news tliat a large British exhibit will be forthcoming. The Government • to-day reoeived a cablegram from the High Commissioner stating that tlie British Government proposes to take 28,C00 square feet of space in' the exhibition. The final amount to be allocated for the purpose ,has not yet been definitely decided, owing to the change of Government, but .a decision may be expected shortly. An official of the Department of Overseas Commerce is leaving for New Zealand about the 20th of this -month to consult with the New Zealand Government on all aspects of the position and to ftscertain the exact requirements. It is now assured that tne lending manufacturers and exporters of Gioafc Britain will make a fine display at the exhibition.
