Eleven lions and a male leopard, says a- Pietersburg (South- Africa) correspondent, is the bag of Mr F. B. Prince' of Mokoetsi, who is one of the first persons to go on .a hunting expedition, with the special object of shooting lions, into the twenty-mile area of the Sabie Game Reserve, in the Northern Transvaal, wlii'! has recently been thrown open. One of the lions was discovered sleeping under a tree, and was despatched «i.t sight. Mr Prince was accompanied only by natives stnd dogs. Zebras and blue wildebeeste are very plentiful in the area, and have been scon in troops of. several hundreds. But the lions and wild dogs are responsible for the destruction of much game.
