The • Lytielton Club's weekly flying-fifty billiards tournament was won by S. ThurJow, J. Lufaro being runner-up.

Dunedin. There was a large attendance of members, and visitors were present from ths Lyttelton,. Svdenhsari, Yo Petitor and Riccarton Lodges. After the formal business had been disposed of * smoke concert was held, items being given by Brothers Smith, S. Porteens, T. Holder, McCormick, S. Spencer, "Walkor and 'White. Sha JPicfcvxes.

Magistrate's Court At tlw Court yesterday, be'fore 'Chptain, R. Hstchwoli and Mr F. Knights, J.P.'s, Frederick George Chaplin; a fireman on the Bomuera, pleaded guilty to a charge of stealing a bathing costuoja valued at Cs £d, tho property o! D. W. Dodds, draper. He was fined £2, in default wee d»js' imprisonment.
