NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
To-day and to-morrow, commencing at 2 o'clock and continuing throughout the afternoon and evening, there v.-ill be held ■ a saio of work in the schooh-oom of tlic Church of Christ at tho corner of Moorhouse avenue and Durham street. The proceeds will bo in aid of the building fund. A jumble seJe mil be- held in the Hibernian Hail 10-day, commencing at 2.50 p.m. . St. Margaret's College annual sports will be held at the Christ's College cricket ground on Friday, at 2 p.m. The Karitane Fete will be continued at the Hospital, Caahmero Hills, to-day ficm 2.30 p.m. The St. John's Presbyterian Church annual rose show wPI be held in the Drill Hall to-morroTv ancT on Friday.
