It was hoped to arrange for an industries' display on People's Day at the Metropolitan Show this year on lines similar to the display made during- the recent Industries' Week. The matter was brought under the notice of the A. and P. Association by representatives' of the Industrial Association, and several members of the General Committee were consulted regarding the suggestion that an industries parade should follow immediately at the close of the grand parade of prize stock, and as a result the representatives of the Industrial Association were informed that permission would be given for the industries display. The subject was discussed at a. meeting of the committee of the Industrial Association on Monday evening, but it was found that there were many difficulties in the way of getting the parade of industries together again, and the conclusion was arrived at that effect could not be given to the proposal, at any rate this year. You surely don't hold with that antiquated delivery from open milk cans? It is really unhealthy, you know. The St. Albans dairy serve me daily with pure, rich, creamy milk, in sealed bottles. You try it. Write A. L. Thompson, McFadden's road, St. Albans. 6
