PURE IRISH LINENS AEE THE BEST OBTAINABLE! Whether the best Irish linens are now obtainable, is a question which was recently discussed at a conference of importers, and on the jnofion of the chairman, was held over until a replv had been received from the Association of Linen Manufacturers in Belfast, Ireland. ' _ That reply is now.to hand, and with it a large consignment of superior and exclusive fine weave linens which speak volumes of praise, and settlo the question, once and for all, that the best linens are obtainable, and are now actually here. Mr H. R,. Bullen, of "Manchester House," m Colombo street, next to i*i. fleece, Ltd.. has been successful in securing a full stock from this sample consignment, and now has a magnificent display, including about 700 yds °f t»ble damask, of exclusive design, b6m wide, which he is able, on this occasion, to sell to the public at 4s 3d per yard,, and a forfar (all linen tea-towellmg) at Is 3d per yard. He is also featuring a very fine sheeting, guaranteed pure and free from dressThese, however, are only some of the lines and the prompt action on the part of the Belfast authorities in forwarding such a select and exclusive variety of Irish linens, has certainly gained the confidence of local buyers, and the public are invited to visit "Manchester House," where we feel sure they also will establish a confidence in those wonderful linapa. £
