TELEGRAPH OPERATOR'S EXPERIENCE.
+ A business man from Wellington was in Okristehurch recently, and called on an old friend of his in the Telegraph Office. He enquired after his pal's family, and was told that they l>ad had a pretty rough time of it during the inclement weather that had been so prevalent Three of the children had tcci; ill with colds and one of them had developed bronchitis. The nan himself had b:en confined to his home. "J)o you know," said tho Telegraphist, "I don't know what wc would have done except for Baxter's Lung Preserver.
