TRINITY CHURCH.
The monthly meeting of Trinity Congregational Church was held on Wednesday, tho Eev. H. J. Hulfadine presiding. The treasurer's monthly statement showed a slight debit balance. The New Zealand Alliance wrote asking for the pulpit for a, service. It was decided to reply that December 11th would be a suitable date. A notice of motion standing in the pastor's name, that three ladies be eligible to be elected on tho diaconatc, was carried. The Moderator, the Kev. Harry Johnson, will .arrive in Christchurch on Novembsr 12th to confer J>ttn the three churches of the city regarding 1 futura work. It was agreed that the annual church meeting 'be held en December 3rd, Mrs Hargreavea and Mr to arrange the musical rwtrt of the programme. The Ladies' Guild" voted £ls to the church fund. A voto of thankj to Mr James Boot for the use of his or?an during the rebuilding of the church organ was carried unanimously. A vote of sympathy with Mr W. Anthony in his illneßs was carried.
