A meetin? of the Wooision Bur-jesses' Association was bold last evening, when Mr G. Hil! presided over a jjood attendance. Ac address on the Hattheote rirer and the Drajna-e Board's work in Tegard to th* river, was ;ircn ly Mr D. Rows*, who reprercuU the district oa the Draiaaze Board.

The Redeliffs Barjeeaej* Association wrote asking the Woolston Association to cooperate m petting a tram skelter erarted at Bamiord street. The writer* had already secured a promise from the Tramway Board to contribute £2O towards the cost, and they thought Ihat the Woolston Association might b» instrumental in getting a grant Irom the City Council to aaaist.
It was decided to investigate the prospect* of getting a. grant of land for tlw erection of the shelter.
Dr. C. Chilton forwarded a CC W °f his objections to th«s City Council's water supply proposals. It waa reported that the Association had been allotted the produce stall at the Woolston Band fet?. Various ways and means of obtaining material for the stall were <Lacuaaed, a»d it was decided that each member should contribute something-. ~ It was decided to approach th* City Council a?kiDg it to delete the ••*»»**? for the tiling of th» TToolston hatw.
