The annual tea meeting of St. Paul's Church will be he'd to-m<rht, at 6 o'clock. An organ recital will start at 6.45 p.m. and a concert will follow at 7.30. A children's fancy dress party will be held in the Selwyn street Methodist schoolroom on Thursday night, at 7.30 p.m. The Mothers' Though Guild will meet at 263 Manchester streot to-day, at 3 p-m-Mrs Roberta will speak on "Adolescence." Shearing commences at tho Kirwee saleyards shearing shed on November 3rd. "The Menace of the Waimakariri" is the title of an address to be given by Mr J. Wood, A.M.1.C.E., in the Y.M.C.A. Hall to-night.
