The National Council of tho Independent Labour Party, of which Mr Ramsay Maeßonald is a member, baa issued its agricultural programme, tho main points of which are nationalisation of the' land and the organisation of agriculture as a national service on a co-operative basisT Tho programme significantly advocates State regulation of the purchase, importation, and storage of staple foodstuffs, with the object of stabilising prices for several years.
