OLYMPIC GAMES.
AN INADEQUATE GRANT. (By Cable—Press Association— Copy.iglit.) (Australian, and V Z Cable Association.) (Received Juno 4th, 5.5 p.m.) PARIS, June 1. The Financial Committee of the Chamber- of Deputies limited the Government subsidy for the 1923 Olympic Games to six million francs. Tho French Olympic Committee insists on a minimum of fifteen millions francs, and has sent a letter to >l. Poinsare stating that unless the subeidy is increased it might be obliged to inform the International Olympic Committee that it is impossible to hold the games in Paris.
