MEETING OF CREDITORS.
ESTATE OF IBVINE P. LOASBY. The adjourned meeting of orediors in the bankrupt estate of Irvine P. Loasby, motor mechanic, Chriatchurch, was held yesterday. The Acting-Official Assignee, Mr A. W. Watters, presided. At the meeting on May 19th, ■ stated, in his sworn statement, that he tma commenced business at the Grosvenor borage, Madras street, in 1916. His capital was £3O. Illness prevented him making a success of the business,' and he was compelled to file a debtor's petition. The meeting had decided to allow bankrupt to retain furniture to the value of £55 and tools of tra-ie to the value of £7O. As the value oi these goods exceeded that stipulated in the Act, the meeting yesterday was called to confirm the resolutions. The Acting-Official Assignee stated that the stock in the garage had been sold for £4 16s 9d, and the balance of th? plant and tools of tra-ie had realised £l7 9s 3d. Tho resolutions pawed at the previous j meeting were confirmed. .
