"WAY DOWN EAST." D. W. Gnuith's great photo-play "Way Down Kssi" was screened twice oa Saturday, the matinee and evening performances each being- attended by crowded audiences. At night largo numbers of people were unable. to gain admission.
"Way Down Kast" J« on© of the greatest drumas which tho famous producer, who is recognised as the master-nund of tho film world, has ever given to the public. The story throbs with intense human interest, afld the "great ice-floe ecer.e is the finest "thrill" which has yet been enacted en the films. The. acting throughout is above reproach, and M;«s "Lilian G'ish, v.ho play.* the principal role, adds fresh laurels to her world-wide, reputation. "Way Down East'' will be screened again thU evening and each successive evening this week.
