<< The New Brighton Motor and Power Boat Club held a five-mile race on Saturday, tot a handsome shield, presented by Mr A. "W. Chvles. Xiae started ia the race, which was held over a course between Sumner jetty asd tha Xew Brighton Pier, under very favourable conditions. A good crowd witnessed iha finish from the pier. The lioamer eecuioii first place, with" Pacific second, and -Nancy taira.,
