A Metropolitan fifteen defeated the New Zealand University Rugby team by. 31 points to 17 in a, keenly-fought contest, which, fluctuated considerably from tb* kick-off .to full, time. Neither side displayed combination, whilst ths Blueks had barfly, shaken off the effects of their sea voyage.
