In the House of Commons, Sir Robert Home, Chancellor of the Exchequer, stated that 202 enemy ships allotted to Great Britain bad been sold, and realised £14,500,000 gross, and £6,000.000 net, after repairs, delivery, and other expenses had been paid. Eighty-five enemy merchant ships were still unsold.
