JOCKEYS' ASSOCIATION CLAIMS. JUDGMENT DELIVERED. * (PBKS3 ASSOCIATION' TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, April 21. Judgment by default was' given by Mr E. C. Cutten, S.M., in favour of the NewZealand Jockeys' Association, which had proceeded. against 23 jockeys to recover 5 per cent, of their winning fees. Mr C. P. Skerrett, K.C., had advised the defendants that there could be no defence at law. Judgment was entered for amouiita ranging from £35 ,11s down to £1 6s, with costs in each case.
