FOOTBALL.
SATURDAY'S BUGBY MATCHES. The following Senior Cud matches will b» played on Saturday;—Mariats v. Old Boys, on the oval at Lancaster Park; Albion v. 'Varsity, Linwood. v. Meriv&lo, at Lancaster Park; Christohurch v. Sydonham, at tho Show Grounds. Great interest is being token in these gomes, as in. each case tho learns are very evenly matched. The Old Boys-Marists fixture u expected to draw a. largo crowd, and some spectacular football should be seen. In addition to the Christ-church-Sydenham game at the Show Grounds there will bo a second grade game on tho adjoining ground, between North Canterbury and Lyttelton. All matches will commence at 3 p.m.
