RIFLE SHOOTING.
CHRISTCHURCH DEFENCE CLUB. A handicap rifle shooting competition, held tinder service conditions by the Christchurch Defence Rifle Club, was won by Rifleman S. F. Nelson, with an aggregate 14 points better than the next man's. There were four sections in the competition—Grouping (five shots); 200 yds, 10 seconds' exposure, (seven shots); 200 yds snap, five "seconds', exposure (seven shots); and 500 yds, 20 seconds' exposure (seven shots). Scores were:
