CYCLING.
N.Z. ROAD CHAMPIONSHIP. The New Zealand 70 miles Road Cycling Championship will be decided, under the auspices of the Noiith. Canterbury. Centre of the New Zealand Athletic and Cycling Union, on Saturday next. The race will start from the Hospital at 11.30 <a.m., and puss through Lincoln, Leeston, Southbridge, Dnusandel, and Irwell, finishing at Canterbury Park. It in, expected to finish about 3 or 3.50 pm. While waiting for the finish at Canterbury Park an old-timers' race of one mile will bo beld for a trophy presented by Mr A. J. Barrett.
