The Afghan diplomatic mission has arrived at Angora. The leader, Ihmen Khan. is delivering Anglophobe speeches, which are being jvidely published. ' In an interview, he stated it was the duty of the entire Islamic world to assist' the Nationalists as Allies. 'Afghanistan had not yet concluded an entente with England, who daily was finding it more difficult to cone with the Indian revolution. • Afghanistan had unsheathed the sword in defence of her independence, and only when this purpose was attained would she return the sword to the scabbard. Pan-Islamic fever is raging with unprecedented violence in Anatolia, and Anglophobe propaganda continues unabated. The. propaganda has now turned against the Italians, as a result of an alleged change in policy. The Nationalists are displaying a threatening and truculent attitude. It is reported from Nationalist sources that the Angora Council has nominated Sheik Ahmed el Senussi js a candidate for the ; thvone of Mesopotamia. He has gone to Mossul.
