WITHDBAWAL OF DOMINION". MELBOURNE, April 10. The New Zealand Lawn Tennia Association has notified tho Tennis Association of Australasia of its intention to withdraw from the, latter body at tho end of twelve months, lit is explained that tho effect of tho withdrawal will be that the New Zealand Association will get one-third tf all the net unapplied proceeds derived from the Davis Cup competitions. Now Zealand, .for Davis Cup purposes, wall still remain o, partner of Aus 1 tralla, but will no longer be entitled to claim that any" challenge round shall be played in New Zealand, or have any claim on profits derived from, matches. Should New Zealand aim at ranking as an independent naMon, capable of challenging' for the Dayia Cup, the existing regulations would require altering. ;
