LONDON, April 14. ■Vyidespread proposals to reduce wages to meat post-war conditions include a reduction in engineering and shipbuilding employees' rates V sis shillings a week, also the abolition of the 12) per cent, bonus and {the piece-workers' 15 per cent, bonus; the abolition of the 7} per cent, bonus in the Midlands nut nnd bolt trade, a reduction of from five to ten shillings a week in the case of electrical workers, 20 per cent, for vehicle workers, threepence an hour for chemical workers, twopence an hour in the Leicester hosiery trade, ten to fifteen shillings in the Aberdeen hosiery trade, fifteen shillings a week in the Scottish packing case-making trade, 18s, 9d for the Manchester waterproofers, 17$ per cent, for Glasgow rubber workers. An important textile trades agreement* expires in May, when reductions will be proposed.
