Certain matters of detail had still to receive attention, and 1 somo correspondnece might ho necessary. * It is understood that there is no chance now of the retail prico of butter reaching 2s 7d or 2s 8d per lb, the price mentioned after the producers' conference at Palmerston Jforth.
