PRIME MINISTER.
ON EVE OP DEPARTURE. (PKBSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON. April 13. At Bellamy's to-night the Primo Minister was entertained at a farewell dinner by the Hon. Sir Francis Bell and his other Cabinet colleagues. To-morrow night Mr Massey leaves Wellington for Auckland. He will attend a civic farewell at Auckland on Friday, and will visit the New Zealand Farmers' Fertilizer Company's works at To Papapa on Saturday. Mr Massey and his party leave by tho Niagara for Vancouver on Saturday. The Hon. D. H. Guthrie, the Hon. C. J. Parr, and tho Hon. J. G. Coates, and probably otflier Ministers, will bo in Auckland'to bid Mjr Massey farewell, and wish him success in his mission to the Old Country. The allocation of Mr Massey'e portfolios during his absence has been finally _ decided. Sir Francis Bell will be Actiiig-Prime.Minister, and will control all the BMnanco Departments. The Hon. D. H. Guthrie will take the portfolio of Railways, the Hon. G. J. Anderson tUiat of Mines, and the Hon. \V. Nosworthy will take over the Imperial Supplies Department.
