LONDOaN", Apnl 11., The Labour Party's Bill to nationalise railways provides tor the vesting of all railways in the Minjetry of Transport within six months of the passage of the measure, the cost of purchase to bo mot by. the issue, of. special railway stock to shareholders calculated on the pre-war price of stock, but subject to a reduction equivalent to the. depreciation of railway "stock during the war period, which is estimated at 30 per ient. , The general direction of the Tnilways is to devolve upon seven commissioners, three appointed by the Government, t/hree by the railwaymen's unions, and one fry the Treasury.
