Akaroa won by 11 points (ono converted try, a nejialtv goal, and a try) to 0 points (three tries). Mr C. Hall acted as referrce. Ip tho evening tho club held a dance in tho boat sheds. CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION. \ ni»etin<* of the Management Committee of'tho C-antcrbury Football Association was held last evening, Mr R. English being nx the chair. An application received from. Strange and Co.'s employees to enter a team i'i the fifth grade was referred to the Junior Management Committee. ... , . „ The Corinthian Club was admitted to the Association, also the Crown. Mr Mullins's resignation from tho Man'asement Committeo was accepted with regret. "The application of the St. Albans Club for, tho use of Richmond Park was refused, on account of the opening match being l played at English Park. Mr Ridoll was elected to the Management Committee. The election of eub-conimitteea resulted as under:— •__,,- Finance and Park—Messrs R. English, Bavics, Bainsay, Bascand, Bunt, Eastgato, the secretary and D;r. Marks. Ciassificrttion—Mesera Cornish, Ramsay,' Prideiis. Deans, Riddell, and Barr. Selection Committee—Messrs Ornish, Ramsay, and Lee. Tho eleotion of a Schools Committee was left in the hands of the boys' division. Entries for all competitions will close on Saturday.
