ST. MARTIN'S TRAM SERVICE.
TO THE BDITOB Of "THE KISS." Sir,—On Monday morning the regular passengers of St. Martin's were favoured with a trailer to the car arriving in th» Square at about 9 o'clock, and one wonders how the Tramway Board managed this, seeing the inconvenience we havo been subject to for so long by crowded oars eadh. morning without anything being done. It is not only that is required, but a decent service. The cars only run once an hour, and whereas this may have been sufficient in years gone by, it is quite inadequate at the present, seeing the district has gone ahead m the way it has. Wlhat about St. Martin's residents who miss the 9.18 p.m. car, and have to wait for the next at 10.30 p.m. 1 Then; in order to attend the pictures at 7.30 session, one has to leave St. Martin's, at 6.32 p.m.—nearly an hour before tho programme commences. Truly, it is n glorious time-table, and the Board is to be complimented on its system of keeping down expenses these "hard" times. —fours, etc., DAILY PASSENGER.
